VCL Group is seeking a skilled and motivated professional for the role of Engineer/Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager – Planning (Building). The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in project planning and management, particularly in building construction projects.
Position Details:
Role: Engineer/Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager – Planning (Building)
Experience: 5+ years
Education: NICMAR/B.Tech/BE/Diploma in Civil Engineering
Location: Maldives/Mauritius
Attributes/Skills Required:
- Expertise in planning, budgets, variations, and time extensions.
- Strong technical skills and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6/P7, MS Project, and MS Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical skills, and logical thinking.
- Team spirit and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage project activities and oversee the entire project management cycle.
- Prepare flowcharts, checklists, and quality monitoring systems, integrating them with billing and MIS systems.
- Review project progress in terms of material submittals, drawings, and site construction.
- Assist in finalizing requirements and specifications in coordination with engineering consultants, collaborators, suppliers, and clients.
- Work closely with the project manager to plan and coordinate site activities and prepare project-related MIS.
