NTPC is inviting experienced professionals to apply for the position of Deputy Manager in various areas of project erection and construction at the E4 level.
Opening Position:
A. Deputy Manager (Electrical Erection) – 45 Posts
- Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Power/Steel/Refinery/Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/Cement sectors, with at least 3 years in site experience related to Erection/Maintenance/Commissioning in the Electrical area.
B. Deputy Manager (Mechanical Erection) – 95 Posts
- Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Power/Steel/Refinery/Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/Cement sectors, with at least 3 years in site experience related to Erection/Maintenance/Commissioning in the Mechanical area.
C. Deputy Manager (C&I Erection) – 35 Posts
- Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Instrumentation with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Power/Steel/Refinery/Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/Cement sectors, with at least 3 years in site experience related to Erection/Maintenance/Commissioning in the C&I area.
D. Deputy Manager (Civil Construction) – 75 Posts
- Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in Civil/Construction with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in Power/Steel/Refinery/Fertilizer/Oil & Gas/Cement sectors, with at least 3 years in site experience related to Civil Construction.
Common Requirements for All Posts:
- Upper Age Limit: 40 years.
- Level/Pay Scale: E4 Grade/IDA (Rs. 70,000-2,00,000).
Additional Requirements:
For Government/Public Sector Candidates:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the scale of Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 or above (IDA pay scale of E3 grade or above of NTPC effective from 01.01.2017) or equivalent scale.
- NOC (No Objection Certificate) from their employer while applying.
For Private Sector Candidates:
- Must submit Form 16 related to Income Tax Return for the last 3 financial years.
Documents Required:
- Class X passing certificate/Marksheet for Name and DOB proof.
- Aadhar Card and PAN Card.
- Engineering consolidated Marksheet/Transcript/all semester marksheets.
- Marks conversion formula for percentage conversion.
- Caste/Disability certificate for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWBD/EWS candidates.
- OBC-NCL and EWS certificates in the prescribed format.
- Disability certificate in the Central Government format.
- Experience certificates and related documents.
- For private sector candidates, Form 16 of the last 3 financial years.
- NOC from current employer for Government/Public Sector candidates.
- Pay-scale circular/matrix for verifying experience in relevant pay scale for Government/Public Sector candidates.
General Conditions:
- Only Indian nationals are eligible.
- All qualifications should be from recognized institutions in India.
- Age, experience, and qualification will be computed based on the last date of receipt of the application.
- NTPC reserves the right to cancel, restrict, curtail, or enlarge the number of vacancies.
- The selection process may include application shortlisting, written tests, interviews, etc.
- Postings can be at any NTPC station/project/joint venture/subsidiary.
- Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria, and any false information will result in disqualification.
- Legal proceedings related to recruitment will be under the jurisdiction of Delhi courts.
