Disciplines and Qualifications:
1. Mechanical:
- Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a shipyard, engineering company, or Government/Semi-Government establishment.
2. Electrical:
- Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a shipyard, engineering company, or Government/Semi-Government establishment.
3. Electronics:
- Qualification: Diploma in Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a shipyard, engineering company, commercial organization, network service provider company, or Government/Semi-Government establishment.
4. Instrumentation:
- Qualification: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with at least 60% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a shipyard, engineering company, or Government/Semi-Government establishment.
5. Civil:
- Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a shipyard, engineering company, or Government/Semi-Government establishment.
6. Information Technology:
- Qualification: Diploma in Computer Engineering/Information Technology with at least 60% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in IT systems and network support, end user support, website management, ERP system support, office work, and maintenance as per ISO standards.
7. Office:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, Computer Applications, or Business Administration with at least 60% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a shipyard, engineering company, commercial organization, or Government/Semi-Government establishment.
8. Finance:
- Qualification: Master’s Degree in Commerce.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in the finance department of a shipyard, engineering company, commercial organization, or Government/Semi-Government establishment.

Age Limit:
- Upper Age Limit: 30 years as of 21 September 2024 (born on or after 22 September 1994).
- Relaxations: 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates, and as per Government guidelines for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen. The age limit after applying all relaxations shall not exceed 45 years.
